The first Plandel house built in 1910 by William Plandel is located at 7858 Lowell Boulevard. The original property was part of a local orchard started by Pleasant DeSpain Sr. the first homesteader in the Westminster area.

Plandel House 2
This modern brick house located at 7860 Lowell Boulevard; was built in 1936 by William Plandel's son. It was intentionally built next to the original family home so that the son could help with the orchard.

ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION
The Modern brick house (behind the trees in the photo) is rectangular in shape with a simple window design and minimal details. The older house to the right has elements of the Folk Vernacular style with a side-gabled roof, front facing hipped dormer and plain style front porch supports.
