This Folk Victorian farm house was located on the NE corner of 76th Avenue and Lowell Boulevard. Pleasant DeSpain Sr. and his wife Sarah Mutter DeSpain originally homesteaded 160 acres of land and built this house in 1870. The Westminster United Methodist Church as been at this location since the mid 1960s.

ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION
This two-story, residence is an example of a side- gabled, I-house subtype which means one room deep. The rectangular window surrounds and square porch design suggest the Italianate style, even though the Victorian detailing gives it a different look.
