(25) Miller House
This Modern style house located at 7500 Lowell Boulevard was originally built by Roy Miller for his family in 1929. The present Tudor style was created when a living room was added to the front of the house in 1939.

ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION
This small one story clapboard house fits best into the Modern era as Minimal Tradition style. In other words, it is a compromise between traditional Eclectic houses and typical houses built just before World War II. The front gabled addition harkens back to an eclectic Tudor cottage, but without the detail of a steep roof or elaborate wall cladding such as stucco and half timbering. The double-hung sash windows, grouped into strings of three or more and their location beneath the main gable are decorative elements of the Tudor style. The present Tudor style was created when a living room was added to the front of the house in 1939.
