(22) Harris House
This Victorian Shingle style house is located at 7996 Bradburn Boulevard. It was built for Charles J. Harris and his wife Florence Harris. They resided here from 1885-1890. The John Couper family owned the house in the late 1920s.

ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION
The Harris House in its original form was a stunning example of a shingle style house. Originally the house had wall cladding of continuous wood shingles, even the roof had wooden shingles. The shingles were continuous, no interruptions at the corners and the steep pitched roof line, with cross gables and the porches made this a wonderful example of a shingle house. The arrangement of the doors, windows and porches are designed to enhance the irregularity of the shape.
