(30) Gregory House (National Register of Historic Places, 1996)

This Dutch Colonial Revival style house is located at 8140 Lowell Boulevard. The house was built in 1910, for Reverend William Gregory, a Presbyterian minister who came to teach at Westminster University. Several generations of Gregorys lived here until 1988.

ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION
The distinct Dutch Colonial Revival features of this early Westminster house are its flared gambrel roof (barn-like shape) and a solid red brick two-and -a half story rectangular building. According to preservationists, this style is rare in Colorado and more common in New York State where the first Dutch immigrants settled.
