ARCHITECURAL DESCRIPTION
The Blickensterfer House is an example of an Eclectic Colonial Revival. The decorative elements of the entrance door surrounds are reminiscent of the earlier English Georgian style, but in this era, they are machine turned and flatter, attached directly to the house rather than a porch. The dormers on the second story are pediments, giving these windows a Greek classical style. The combinations of all these different elements are what make the house eclectic.
