This Modernistic style building located at 7300 Lowell Boulevard is now the Career Enrichment Park. The school officially opened for students on September 6, 1949 and was built to replace Union High School.

ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION
The Westminster High School, constructed in 1949, represents a Modernistic style. The effect of this style was the front or façade of the High School is asymmetrical and the horizontal arrangement of the windows give a horizontal emphasis to the building. All of this adds to the feeling that air streams could move freely around the building, a postwar design movement reflected in the postwar construction of airplanes, ships and automobiles. [More...]
