(24) Rudolph House
This three-story, Folk Victorian style house located at 7885 Quitman Street was built in 1892 for Walter S. Rudolph. It was originally surrounded by five acres of land. The house was designed for boarding male students from Westminster University. Dr. Rudolph also resided here with his wife Hattie and raised seven children.

ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION
This "gable-front and wing plan" structure is different from a Folk Vernacular style one because of the decorative details. The deep overhangs on the roof with broken pediments (notice the triangle shape above the window) suggest Colonial or Greek Revival elements. The white brackets under the eaves and the curved top on the narrow windows borrow features from the Italianate style.
