(15) DeSpain (Earle Stanley) House
This Folk Victorian house, built around 1890, is located at 7616 Bradburn Boulevard. Earle Stanley DeSpain (son of Pleasant DeSpain Jr.) and Gertrude Rigg DeSpain received it as a wedding gift.

ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION
This house is an example of a side- gabled, two-story Folk Victorian house. It is an I-house subtype which means one room deep. The floor plan included four rooms, kitchen and living room on the main floor and two rooms upstairs with a large porch the length of the West and South sides of the home. One of the upstairs rooms might have been boarded out to a teacher as notes regarding students were found in the walls during restoration. The window surrounds are simple rectangles. The porch has been covered making it impossible to see if there is any Victorian decorative detailing.
