B Line Route
The B Line runs between Westminster and Denver Union Station. Westminster Station is an end-of-the-line station until additional funding for future phases of the line to Boulder and Longmont is identified.

Travel Time
11 minutes, nonstop

$2.60/$1.30 discounted. Passengers using multiple RTD routes can also purchase a $9 day pass that can be used on any RTD service within a 24 hour period. View a map and get information on train fares

Travel Schedule
The B Line will operate from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.  Monday-Friday the train will run every 30 minutes during peak hours (6-9 a.m. and 3-6 p.m.) and every 60 minutes during non-peak hours. Weekends and holidays the train will run every hour. View the complete schedule.

A parking garage with over 600 spaces is located on the corner of Westminster Station Drive and Grove Street.

  • If your vehicle is registered at an address within RTD boundaries, you may park for free the first 24-hour period every day you park. For parking that extends beyond the first 24 hours, a $2 daily fee applies.
  • If your vehicle is registered out of district, a $4 daily fee applies. When parking at RTD Park-n-Ride facilities for extended time while traveling via the University of Colorado A Line, parking fees will apply.
  • Patrons must pay before getting on the train for the total amount of days you will be gone.
  • Vehicles may not be parked continuously for longer than 30 consecutive days. Vehicles parked greater than 30 consecutive days without being moved may be subject to ticketing and towing at the owners expense. For more information, visit RTD's website.

Type of Rail Vehicle
The B Line will be an electric, heavy rail vehicle with a passenger capacity of 170, with 91 seated passengers. Trains are expected to comprise two cars, although additional capacity could be added for special events.

Open Space/Park
A future 40-acre park and open space area along Little Dry Creek will be built south of the railroad tracks between Federal Boulevard and Lowell Boulevard.

Development Around the Westminster Station
The area around the future Westminster Station consists of 135-acres bound by Federal Boulevard and Lowell Boulevard, 72nd Avenue and approximately 68th Avenue. The vision for this area is a vibrant, mixed-use district, which includes a 40-acre community park with ample recreation and open space amenities.
