(7) Oleson House
This American Foursquare is located at 7340 Bradburn Boulevard. In 1902, Edward Bruce Bowles built the house for his daughter Bessie and her new husband Pete Oleson. The Tony Blatter family purchased this house in 1942 and resided here until 1968.

ARCHITECTURAL DESCRIPTION
This practical, rectangular floor plan, called the American Foursquare or Prairie Box, is considered a Prairie style. Prairie elements are visible in the symmetrical, hipped roof, covered porch entrance, wide-boxed eaves and vertical window shapes. When looking at this house in person, notice the flared corners on the roof. This feature is common to the French Colonial style and makes the house look a little different than the first Mulford house.
