The library needs teen volunteers, ages 12-17 (must be 12 by June 1), to help with our 2013 Summer Reading program from June 1 - August 3. Teens can earn volunteer hours by helping kids register, handing out prizes, entering statistics, and performing other duties as assigned by library staff.

Beginning April 1, 2013, interested teens should go online to check the summer reading volunteer calendar for either College Hill (Please note: College Hill schedule is already full) or Irving Street and then complete a registration form to reserve two volunteer time shifts. For more information contact Teen Services at 303-658-2622

ABOUT THE LIBRARY

LOCATIONS
Library staff provide friendly and professional service to the community at two locations, the College Hill Library and the Irving Street Library. Anyone in the community can apply for a free library card.

The College Hill Library is a unique combination of public and academic library in north Westminster, built and operated jointly by the City of Westminster and Front Range Community College. The library is located at the west end of the college campus and is open to everyone. Hours and location information appear to the right. The Irving Street Library is a smaller neighborhood library that borders on the Irving Street Park and serves our south Westminster community. Hours and location information appear to the right.

LIBRARY COMPUTERS
Computers are available for use by community members and visitors. Both libraries provide free wired internet access on a first-come, first served basis with session times controlled by an electronic queuing system. Both libraries offer unlimited wireless access for patrons with mobile devices and laptops. Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Publisher are installed on most library computers. Library computers can be accessed with a valid library card or visitor day pass. Call 303-658-2604 for more information.

THE LIBRARY AND THE COMMUNITY
Our thanks to the Friends of the Westminster Public Library who raise money to enhance Library services and fund library programs. Thanks also to the Parks, Recreation and Libraries Advisory Board members for their interest in and support of quality library services.
