Everybody Triathlon Challenge

May 1-31

Enter a triathlon that you have a month to complete! Swim 2.4 miles (84 laps), run or walk 26.2 miles, and bike 112 miles in May and receive an Trianthlon Challenge T-shirt. Also earn other prizes along the way. Progress logs are available at any Westminster recreation center. Open to anyone 15 years or older. For more information, call 303-427-2217 or any recreation center.




Summer Block Party

Friday, June 2, 6:30 p.m., Irving Street Library, 7392 Irving St.
Celebrate summer with a night of fun! Join us for free dinner provided by Westminster Public Schools, a jumping castle, fire truck rides, activities and much more! Enjoy a free movie, The Jungle Book, at dusk.

Father Daughter Ball

Saturday, June 17, 6-9 p.m., Denver Marriott Westminster Hotel, 7000 Church Ranch Blvd.

The fairies have gathered for some woodland fun, it’s going to be enchanting and we hope you can come! Fathers and daughters head into our woods for dancing, desserts and a carriage ride too. Take home a photo of you and your beau, a keepsake that neither will ever outgrow. Appropriate for children 3 years and older.

1870 Vintage Baseball Game

Saturday, July 1, 10 a.m. to noon, Wolff Run Park, 4705 W. 76th Ave.

Game is played by the 1870 rules. Hot dogs, brats, peanuts and drinks are available for purchase. Game details

Parking is limited at City Park; use the FREE shuttle bus from many locations in Westminster and Hyland Hills. GRILLS, FIREWORKS, ALCOHOL, and GLASS CONTAINERS are not allowed at the event.
