Parking Summons

A parking summons is issued for violating a parking ordinance of the City of Westminster. It is placed on the windshield of a vehicle. The summons will cite the specific offense(s) that has/have been violated and identify the amount(s) that must be paid. The summons contains the date and location of the violation followed by the section number(s) of the violation(s). The violation listed may be found in the 
Westminster Municipal Code/Traffic/Parking.

For your convenience, a parking summons is payable in advance, and if paid, does not require a court appearance. Payment is due within 14 days of the date on the summons.

Payment Online: 
Most parking citations are eligible to be paid online. Pay online.

Payment By Mail:  Make check or money order payable to the City of Westminster for the total amount due as indicated by adding all fines for the violation(s) checked on the summons. Please include the summons along with your payment to the court, including summons number on your form of payment. Make sure to keep a copy for your records. Please do not send cash.

Payment By Phone With Credit Card:  Call 303-658-2250 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday - Thursday.  We are closed on Friday and on holidays.

Payment In Person:  Appear at the Westminster Municipal Court, 3030 Turnpike Drive, Westminster, CO between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday - Thursday. We are closed on Friday and on holidays.

To Contest the Violation(s):
You may contest the violation(s) within 14 calendardays of the issuance of the summons. You are required to appear in person at the Westminster Municipal Court, 3030 Turnpike Drive, Westminster, CO. You will then be scheduled for a court appearance set at a later date.

Failure to pay within 14 days will result in a $20 late fee. Failure to pay or appear at court in person within 14 days of the date of the summons will result in the matter being turned over to a collection agency and will waive your right to contest the charge(s).
