General Permits

A General Permit from the fire department is required in the City of Westminster for various activities including use of large tents, canopies, underground or above-ground storage tanks, pyrotechnics, professional fireworks displays, and open burning. 

Fire Protection Permits

Large projects must submit plans to the fire department for approval.  A Fire Protection Permit Application is required for new construction, tenant finish, sprinkler/fire suppression systems, fire alarm systems, and hoods. Walk-throughs
