The Westminster Fire Department is not only dedicated to providing emergency services, but also to offering the community services that lead to a safer community.

Safety Services

Car Seat Inspections -- offered twice a month at Fire Station #2.

Residential Knox Box -- this program enables citizens to allow emergency access into their homes without property damage.

Home Safety Inspections -- offered quarterly to residents interested in having a safety assessment of their home.

Westminster Med -- this membership program is designed to reduce the out-of-pocket expense for emergency medical transport.

Ride Along Guidelines

The ride along program of the Westminster Fire Department is generally limited to students of area emergency medical programs or fire science programs.

Community Events

The fire department conducts and participates in a variety of community events.  Fire Station Open Houses, July 4th Fishing Derby, the Santa program, and more...

Community Preparedness

Education Programs

The Westminster Fire Department offers a wide variety of educational programs for all ages. From CPR to fire extinguishers to "stop, drop & roll."

Charitable Organizations

The fire department works with two non-profit organizations to support community needs.

Westminster Firefighters Fire Victims Benefit Fund -- primarily offers victims of fire immediate financial support.

Westminster Public Safety Recognition Foundation -- recognizes police and fire personnel, citizens, and businesses that have served above and beyond the call of duty.
