Booth Applications

Thank you for your interest in Westy Fest scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 9, at Westminster City Park. Please select the correct application below and fill it out completely.

Applications will be accepted until Thursday, July 31, or until the event is full.

Register early and save! The early registration discount ends June 16, 2014.

Food vendors

Resident Fee: $80 before June 16; $100 after June 16
Non-Resident Fee: $90 before June 16; $110 after June 16
Electric Outlet: $30 before June 16; $50 after June 16

You are a food vendor if you are selling products that people will eat during the event. Regulations set by the Jefferson County Department of Health will be enforced. A current copy of the certificate of approval to operate a temporary food service establishment issued by the Jefferson County Department of Health must accompany your application.  Click here to download an application to obtain a certificate of approval.  Food vendors also must provide a liability insurance certificate to the City of Westminster for at least $600,000, naming the City of Westminster as additional insured. Food vendors are required to use recyclable tableware and utensils and are responsible for collecting the appropriate sales tax.

Nonprofits

Resident Fee: $50 before June 16; $60 after June 16
Non-Resident Fee: $60 before June 16; $70 after June 16
Electric Outlet: $30 before June 16; $50 after June 16

You are a nonprofit if your group was organized for purposes other than generating profits; for example, a charitable, educational, religious or scientific organization. If selling food (excluding pre-packaged items), the booth will fall under the food vendor rate.

Presenting Partner: $1,500
Major Partner: $1,000
Supporting Partner: $500
Community Partner: $250

Businesses are companies that wish to promote their professional products and services at the event. Examples include insurance companies, realtors, chiropractors, travel agents, retail stores, restaurants, car and boat dealerships, and custom-made goods such as hot tubs and spas, sunrooms, flooring, etc. All businesses are considered sponsors and will receive marketing benefits with their booth fee. Various sponsorship levels are available for the Faire, with attractive benefits at each level. Sponsorships will be supported through an integrated marketing, direct mail and public relations program that is great for gaining recognition and awareness in the community.

Arts and crafts

Resident Fee: $60 before June 16; $80 after June 16
Non-Resident Fee: $70 before June 16; $90 after June 16
Electric Outlet: $30 before June 16; $50 after June 16

You are considered an arts and craft vendor if the items you are selling are handmade. A detailed description of your booth items and a photograph must be included with your application. Vendors are responsible for collecting the appropriate sales tax.

Arts and Crafts Vendor Application

Home-based businesses

Resident Fee: $60 before June 16; $80 after June 16
Non-Resident Fee: $70 before June 16; $90 after June 16
Electric Outlet: $30 before June 16; $50 after June 16

A business, of any size or type, whose primary office is in the owner’s home is considered a home-based business. Vendors who sell non-handcrafted products such as sunglasses, novelty items, home decorative items or any mass-produced items are considered a home-based business. Examples are Avon, the Pampered Chef, Party Lite and Tupperware. Vendors are responsible for collecting the appropriate sales tax.

You must have a valid/current City of Westminster Resident Discount Card or Hyland Hills resident ID card to qualify for the resident rate
. Westminster Resident Discount Cards, valid for two years, may be purchased for $6 at all City of Westminster recreation centers during normal business hours. Proof of Westminster residency is required each time a new card is purchased. Resident Discount Cards enable Westminster residents to access certain recreation facilities, recreation programs and classes at discounted resident prices. Nonprofit organizations are not required to have a Resident Discount Card, but they must have a Westminster address.

All applications are subject to approval from the Westy Fest committee before acceptance into the Faire. Approved vendors are given space on a first-come, first-served basis.
