Sheridan Crossing Trail
This mile-long trail has multiple personalities as it winds its way through a residential subdivision and then open space. Park along 118th Place west of Wolff Street, where the trail begins. The trail follows a landscaped drainage way between houses before it crosses 117th Avenue and the views open up to the east across city-owned park and open space land. The trail follows the edge of a storm water retention pond that attracts lots of water fowl. The trail passes near Wolff Street before heading east across city open space along a pretty cattail-filled creek. Westfield Village Park is visible south of the creek. A narrow, tree-lined pond appears on the right before the trail ends at the Big Dry Creek Trail.
