This trail encircles the Lexington subdivision, which is located on the west side of Huron Street at Lexington Avenue (approximately 140th Avenue). The trail is approximately 1.5 miles in length and very flat, thus very easy to walk or bike. The trail is within a homeowner’s association greenbelt. The northern part of the trail (north of Lexington Avenue) is concrete and the south part is asphalt, which will eventually be replaced with concrete by the developer of the land to the south and west in the City and County of Broomfield. The developer will also construct a trail connection from the west part of the Lexington Trail to the McKay Lake Trail along the south side of the Lexington Shores subdivision.
