Faversham Pond Trail
This scenic trail encircles the pretty pond in 18-acre Faversham Park located north of 73rd Avenue at Ingalls Street. This 0.37-mile concrete trail provides many viewing opportunities to observe water birds and redwing blackbirds that nest in the marshy areas.
The trail on the east side of the pond hugs the top of a ridge that affords beautiful views through the willows and cottonwood trees to the pond. There is an expansive view to Tepper Fields to the east. Some informal dirt trails lead east to Tepper Fields and north to Hillside Park located directly north of Faversham Park within the City of Arvada.
At the playground area, a short trail leads to an attractive picnic shelter with tables and benches perched on the edge of the pond. A short pier extends into the water for great pond views. The playground provides a variety of play equipment for children of all ages.
To access the trail, use the parking lot just north of 73rd Avenue at Ingalls Street.
