Cotton Creek Trail
This approximately 1-mile-long, mostly concrete trail begins at its junction with the Big Dry Creek Trail, just west of Vrain Street, south of 112th Avenue. After a short gravel segment, the trail becomes concrete as it rises 190 feet in elevation before intersecting the Farmers' High Line Canal Trail at Legacy Ridge Parkway. The shady trail parallels the lush vegetation along Cotton Creek and crosses two lightly used local streets within the Cotton Creek subdivision. The clear water from Cotton Creek gurgles over rocks as it flows down the rather steep-sided valley before flowing into Big Dry Creek. There are several shaded benches and grassy areas perfect for picnics, rest stops and quiet reflection. The trail passes along side the Legacy Ridge Golf Course, with its spectacular floral displays, and ends just after crossing the Farmers' High Line Canal.
