Community Pride Day

Join more than 1,300 volunteers picking up trash along trails and streets and in open space and parks. Then enjoy a free barbecue with food, entertainment, and prizes at City Hall. This is a great activity for families, individuals, scout troops, churches, neighborhoods, and schools. To register, call (303) 658-2201 or e-mail pwright@cityofwestminster.us. An enchanted evening awaits fathers and daughters at the 18th annual Father Daughter Ball. The event includes a sit-down dinner, dancing, a professional photograph, carriage ride and refreshments. Age: 5 years and older. Fee: $30 per person, $36 non-resident per person. Please register, reserve a carriage ride and indicate any group seating preferences in advance by calling (303) 658-2192.
