Standley Lake Regional Park Permits and Sales

Standley Lake offers season permits, special use permits and day passes for all of the different activities allowed in the park. These permits go on sale at different times of the year.

All season passes/permits require a completed application packet. Applications are available for pick-up and drop-off at Standley Lake Regional Park at 100th Avenue and Simms Street at the beginning of each year in mid-January. All motorized boats must be registered with the state. 

Boating - Engines Over 20 Horsepower

These permits are limited in number (550) and are sold on a first come, first serve basis. These permits are available online or at Standley Lake. Get more information and an application for Power Boat Permits.

Full-Season Resident Power Boat Permit - $850
Allows 7-day-a-week boating for one (1) power boat and camping, May 1 through Sept. 30.
Allows off-season access into park Oct. 1 through Dec. 31 for picnicking and fishing.

Full-Season Nonresident Power Boat Permit - $950
Allows 7-day-a-week boating for one (1) power boat and camping, May 1 through Sept. 30.
Allows off-season access into park Oct. 1 through Dec. 31 for picnicking and fishing.

Boating - Engines 20 Horsepower and Under

Paddle Craft/Fishing Permit - $200
Allows 7-day-a-week boating for one (1) trailered fishing boat or two (2) paddle craft, May 1 through Sept. 29. Also allows off-season access into park Oct. 1 through Dec. 31 for picnicking and fishing.

This permit is for two (2) paddle craft or one (1) fishing vessel only. Power boats with inboard motors or outboard motors that can be used to tow skiers or tubes are not eligible for this type of permit. Any boat that has a motor that exceeds 20hp is not eligible for this permit no matter what type of watercraft it is. Paddle Craft/Fishing permits go on sale each year in January. 

Daily Paddle Pass - $15

Single-day use for up to two (2) paddle boards, canoes, kayaks, and inflatable rafts only. All paddle craft must enter at the main entrance to the park and will be sprayed in accordance with ANS protocols.  If paddle craft is brought in on a trailer, then the 35 day quarantine will be required per ANS (aquatic nuisance species) protocols. Available May 1 - Sept. 30.

Paddle Craft Combo Pass - $50

This punch card pass is available for those who want to use additional paddle craft in conjunction with their power boat pass or their paddle craft/ fish permit. This pass is sold only to those who have purchased a full season power boat permit or a paddle craft/ fish permit. This pass is good for fourteen visits with up to two (2) additional paddle craft per visit.

Park Access

Daily Camping - $19 

Single-night camping in designated sites available May 1 - Sept. 30. There are several campsites designated for RV use only.

Senior/Handicap/Military Annual Permit - $16
Allows 7-day-a-week access into park year round for persons 60 and older, military personnel and persons with disabilities.
Pass is valid only for the calendar year sold. Pass expires Dec. 31.

Annual Day-Use Permit - $60
Allows 7-days-a-week access into park year round.
Pass is valid only for the calendar year sold. Pass expires Dec. 31. 

Daily Gate Admission - $7/vehicle
Single-day access into park (no boating).
Available year round.  

Special Use Permit - Varies

Standley Lake Regional Park has a variety of venues and activities for you to host your next event. For information, pricing and information on hosting private gatherings or celebrations such as weddings, family unions, company picnics, corporate retreats, graduation parties or other celebrations, please fill out the special use permit and email it to standleylake@cityofwestminster.us.

The application and payment must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the event. You will be contacted by Standley Lake staff once your special use permit application has been received.
