Standley Lake Regional Park is a 2,321 acre park located in unincorporated Jefferson County. Standley Lake is a multi-use recreation and water-storage facility, and is the water supply for Westminster, Northglenn, and Thornton. It is used for recreation, drinking water and irrigation. Standley Lake offers a number of activities including tipi and paddle craft rentals, camping, boating (by permit only), fishing, hiking, nature programs and wildlife viewing.
Daily Park Access ($7) - Allows entry of one vehicle into the park until sunset. There is no fee to walk, run or ride a bike into Standley Lake Regional Park. There are free parking lots at 86th Parkway and Simms Street and 100th Avenue and Owens Street where people can park and walk into the park.
Senior/Handicap/Military Annual Permit ($25) - Allows 7-day-a-week access into park year round for persons 60 and older, military personnel and persons with disabilities. Pass is valid only for the calendar year sold. Pass expires Dec. 31.
Annual Day-Use Permit ($60) - Allows 7-days-a-week access into park year round. Pass is valid only for the calendar year sold. Pass expires Dec. 31.
Nature Education Programs - Park rangers offer educational nature programs throughout the year for visitors and groups of all ages. Additionally, our park naturalist can work with schools to create customized programs to fit into classroom curriculum. Special Use Permit (Pricing Varies) - Standley Lake Regional Park has a variety of venues and activities for you to host your next event. For information, pricing and information on hosting private gatherings or celebrations such as weddings, family unions, company picnics, corporate retreats, graduation parties or other celebrations, please contact at (303) 658-2790. Applications and payment must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the event.
