Updated Renovation Information

On Monday, September 26, 2011, City Council approved the contract with California Skateparks for design/build services for the skatespot.  The construction of this feature is anticipated to begin in early 2012.

Budget Cuts Force Kings Mill Facility and Pool to Close

As part of the 2011/2012 budget cuts, the Kings Mill pool and associated facilities will be closed.  The difficult decision to close this neighborhood facility was made out of necessity and it is part of the staff reductions and service cuts needed to meet a projected $3.6 million budget shortfall in 2011.  Learn more here.
