The Heritage Golf Course at Westmoor

The Heritage Golf Course at Westmoor is a championship experience that provides you with the perfect blend of unsurpassed challenges and uncompromising amenities, all in a spectacular setting of natural beauty that stirs the spirit.

Opened in September 1999, this Hurdzan-Fry design (Hurdzan was named Golf Course Architect of the Year in 1997 by Golf World Magazine), measures 7,536 yards from the championship tees, shrinking to 5,200 yards from the red tees. This Colorado-style Scottish links layout targets players of all levels with five tee boxes on every hole, wide fairways, generous landing areas and greens that average more than 6,000 square feet. The Heritage also takes full advantage of the sweeping mountain views, while the wetlands, prairie grasses and gently rolling topography making for both a rare and unique round of golf at a very affordable price. Certified Bronze Audubon International Signature Sanctuary

Audubon International Signature Program logoThe Audubon International Signature Program is an environmental education and assistance program created to help landowners and managers to follow sustainable resource management principles in a comprehensive manner when developing and then managing properties. The program aims to add and integrate wildlife conservation, habitat restoration and enhancement, water conservation and water quality protection and other areas of environmental protection and improvement with the other objectives for new developments. The Signature Programs' long term goal is to foster a stewardship ethic that leads landowners and mangers, consultants, and the community to consider environmental, rather than just economic, costs and benefits in their decision making and to apply these environmental values routinely in land management. Heritage at Westmoor became certified as the second of only two certified projects in Colorado on Oct. 30, 2002. The City of Westminster continues to maintain the facility at standards of the Signature Program.

Practice Facilities
The Heritage at Westmoor Golf Course is the perfect place to hone your game. We offer a 30-station driving range that was renovated in 2003, with large target greens and plaques with distances from tee to greens, a 3000-square-foot chipping green with two bunkers and a diverse undulation of terrain that will test even the best players abilities, and a 5,000-square-foot practice putting green with numerous cut cups and a wide range of short stick challenges. Golf balls are purchased for use on the practice facility in the Golf Shop. Practice facility hours vary based on the time of the year and course conditions.
