Marriott full-service hotel receives approval

An amended Official Development Plan for a Marriott full-service hotel at 7000 Church Ranch Boulevard has been approved.
The amended plan allows phased construction of the hotel with a first phase consisting of 159,553 square feet, 212 guestrooms and all related hotel and conference services.
An expansion of the hotel to 196,062 square feet with a total of 297 guestrooms may occur at a future date.
Construction will begin early this summer with completion anticipated the fall of 2013.
