Public art grows with two new pieces

(Jul 10, 2013)

Two new sculptures have recently been installed in Westminster as part of the city’s Public Art Program.

Wild Ice now graces the entrance to the Ice Centre at the Promenade. The bronze sculpture by artist Gregg Todd of Greeley consists of three life-size skaters (two boys and a girl) playing “crack the whip.”

You Are Here is an abstract sculpture at the entrance to the new Trimble Navigation building in the Westmoor Technology Park. This abstract piece by artist Kathleen Caricof of Loveland features three folded, triangular metal pieces of different sizes that rise up from the ground to form a circle.
