I-25 North Express Lanes Project website now available

The Colorado Department of Transportation will begin construction in summer 2013 of a new HOV/tolled express lane in each direction of I-25 between U.S. 36 and 120th Avenue.

This new lane will connect to the existing I-25 express lanes to and from downtown Denver.

Buses and carpools will be able to use the new lane free of charge, while solo drivers will be required to pay a toll.

Currently, the project is under design and construction.

The project is scheduled to be completed in summer 2015.
