City Council approves future open space acquisition

At the Jan. 23 City Council meeting, a rezoning and an Official Development Plan (ODP) for the Westminster Reformed Presbyterian Church property, located at 4455 W. 112th Ave., was approved.

The rezoning and ODP will allow the city to purchase the 2.24 acre parcel on the northern portion of the church property to be added to the Big Dry Creek Open Space.

The request will go before City Council for second reading on Feb. 23.
