May 21-27 is National Public Works Week
(May 17, 2017)
Westminster’s Public Works and Utilities Department employees work hard every day to ensure our citizens have well-maintained streets, efficiently moving traffic no matter the weather, clean water and sewer services. Their dedication and commitment is recognized during National Public Works Week, May 21-27.
Since 1960, the American Public Works Association has sponsored National Public Works Week, and this year's theme "Public Works Connects Us" speaks to the essential nature of public works services in support of the public's everyday quality of life.
Westminster’s Public Works and Utilities Department employees use this week to educate the public on the many facets of public works.
