Council authorizes annual competitions for new residential projects
(Oct 16, 2013)
The Westminster City Council authorized competitions in 2014 for new residential projects and allocated 550 service commitments for those competitions.
As part of the city’s Growth Management Program, the city requires potential developers to compete for the ability to develop a new residential project.
Developers can download an application packet from the city’s website or pick up an application packet in-person at City Hall for any new single-family detached, single-family attached, multi-family, senior housing or traditional mixed-use neighborhood projects.
The deadline for project submittals is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
Following city review, City Council will award and set aside additional service commitments in future years to the winning projects through build-out.
