Council to hold mid-year review on adopted 2014 budget

On Monday, Sept. 16, Westminster City Council will review the city’s adopted 2014 budget and proposed amendments.
At this meeting, city staff will give council an update on the city’s economic picture for 2013 and 2014; review the proposed pay plan, staffing adjustments and benefits; review proposed operating and capital improvement program modifications; and review any citizen requests received.
Based on feedback from City Council at this mid-year budget review, staff will prepare an amendment to the adopted 2014 for consideration at the regular City Council meeting on Oct. 14.
The adopted 2014 budget totals $175,458,143 and includes funding for all of the services and programs provided by the city government to Westminster residents, businesses and visitors.
