Emergency preparedness training offered for those with disabilities

People with disabilities, their family and support care providers are invited to attend the free Emergency Preparedness Training Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, at the Jefferson County Courthouse.
This is a fun and interactive training day to learn basic emergency skills. The training will include family and home preparedness, CPR, fire safety, first aid and more. Participants will leave the class with a starter emergency preparedness kit, fire extinguisher and more.
Lunch will be provided.
CART and ASL services are available by request before July 12.
