City recommends water conservation
(Jun 13, 2013)
Thanks to late spring moisture and the conservation efforts of the city’s water customers, Westminster’s water storage is at capacity.
The city can now cancel the voluntary water restrictions imposed in April 2013.
While concerns over water storage in 2013 are relieved, water conservation is still a vital component in Westminster’s long-term water supply plan. The city continues to recommend wise water use as a means to ensure a healthy landscape by encouraging deep root growth while conserving Westminster’s water supply.
