Fourth of July Celebration

Is Westminster still shooting off fireworks this year?  YES! 

Celebrate America’s birthday and honor those who protect our freedom at the annual 4th of July Celebration.

Thursday, July 4, 6 p.m., City Park

How much does the event cost?
The event is free and there is no charge for parking. Food vendors will be selling food and there will be jumping castles for a fee. 

6 p.m. - Food vendors/activities begin - Have fun in the activity area playing on jumping castles, slides and more.

7 p.m. - Free concert by Heartbeat - Variety band. No matter what style of music you like, Heartbeat is sure to please as they sing song selections from current dance selections, sultry ballads, the 80's, Latin, Motown, oldies, Disco and dance.

9:15 p.m. - Fireworks - lasting approximately 20 minutes

Parking is very limited at City Park. Use the free shuttle bus from many locations in Westminster and Hyland Hills.

Grills, fireworks and glass containers are not allowed at the event.

Pets are allowed however the 4th of July is a terrifying time for animals; we encourage people to leave pets at home for their safety and the safety of those around them.

The 4th of July Celebration is presented by the City of Westminster, the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District, North Metro Arts Alliance and the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District.
