Celebrate summer at the Summer Solstice Celebration
(Jun 20, 2013)
Pump up your bicycle tires and dig out your Hawaiian shirt or hula skirt, it’s time for a group bike ride.
On Friday, June 21, at 6 p.m. bikers of all ages will meet at City Park, 10455 Sheridan Blvd., or Big Dry Creek Park, 1700 W. 128th Ave., for a fun and easy ride along the Big Dry Creek Trail.
The ride will stop at Westfield Village Park where riders will enjoy a free concert by The Nacho Men, food vendors, a bounce house, Touch-A-Truck, free activities and more. Staff will lead bikers back when the concert ends at 9 p.m.
Don’t want to be part of the bike ride? Meet at Westfield Village Park, 11550 Wolff. St., at 7 p.m. for the concert and activities.
The theme is Hawaiian, so decorate your bike and dress in your favorite Hawaiian attire.
