Concessions to begin at Christopher Fields
(May 30, 2013)
For the first time, visitors will have access to concessions at Christopher Fields.
The City of Westminster has contracted with Benders restaurant, located in the Westminster Promenade, to open Benders II as a concession area at the fields.
The new concession operation will be located in the center of the softball complex and will be open spring through fall.
The establishment of concessions is meant to enhance the experience of a night at the ballpark for players and fans alike. The collaboration between the city and Bender’s results in making the finest softball complex in the metro-area even better.
Everything on the menu will be priced $1 to $4 and will include signature items such as nachos, pizza, hot dogs, smoked sausage and brats. Beverages will include a full array of Pepsi products. Pending approval of an application before the Special Permit and License Board and state authorities, the plan is to also sell Coors Light and Blue Moon on tap with a variety of microbrews in cans. Bender’s at the Ballpark will also serve ice cream bars, drumsticks and a signature pretzel dipped in chocolate and ice cream.
Concession operations will kick-off in early July with hours of operation based primarily on alignment with softball league games.
