Flashing yellow turn arrows installed at Westminster intersection

Flashing Yellow Arrow Signals Flier
Motorists traveling through Westminster will notice flashing yellow turn arrows at the Wadsworth Parkway at 92nd Avenue intersection. This is the first of three intersections that will receive the new signals in the coming months.
Westminster and CDOT will install these new signals to reduce accidents, move traffic more efficiently and add traffic flexibility.
Motorists will continue to see steady green, steady yellow and steady red arrows, which will function normally.
The addition of the flashing yellow indicates drivers may turn left when there is a sufficient gap in oncoming traffic. Motorist turning left must yield the right-of-way to oncoming traffic and pedestrians.
In addition to Wadsworth Parkway at 92nd Avenue, flashing yellow signals will be installed at the following intersections: 120th Avenue at Pecos Street and Church Ranch Boulevard at Old Wadsworth Boulevard.
