The Registry apartments reviewed by Planning Commission
(Dec 13, 2012)
The Registry apartments are proposed for east of Zuni Street and south of Federal Parkway and 122nd Avenue.
The 25.4-acre site includes parts of two Preliminary Development Plans (PDP) and two Official Development Plans (ODP).
The Planning Commission recommended approval of an amendment to the city’s Comprehensive Land Use Plan (CLUP), and amendments to the PDP’s and ODP’s.
The 312 rental units proposed will be on the sloping site, with mountain views for many of the units. Another feature of the site will be an observation area with an elevation marker at 5,280 feet.
The city will receive 8.4 acres of land for open space uses.
The City Council will review the CLUP and PDP’s and ODP’s at a public hearing on Jan. 14.
