Special Permit and License Board

The Special Permit and License Board conducts public hearings, hears evidence and approves or denies special use permits. Acting as the local liquor licensing authority, it conducts public hearings for new liquor license applications and takes disciplinary action where violations occur. The board meets at 7 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of the month on an as-needed basis. There are six to 10 meetings each year, with meetings of one to two hours.
