Water Bill Assistance Programs
Low-Income Program for residents. You may qualify for a one-time $100 credit* on your residential water bill. Check the household income guidelines in the link below. If you already qualify for the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP), then you automatically qualify for this program.
Hardship Program for any resident who is having short-term difficulties paying their water bill due to a temporary interruption of income, such as a loss of employment. If the water bill has not been paid for at least 45 days from the date of the bill, one-time credits* on the water bill are available. Additional documentation may be necessary to qualify.
Conservation Program for indoor water-use inspection and low-water use toilets. Looking to reduce your water bill and don't know where to start? Trained water conservation consultants analyze residential water use, inspect current plumbing fixtures for adequacy, and provide simple and economical recommendations to increase water use efficiency. If you qualify for the Low-Income Program, then you automatically qualify for this program. This program begins February 2017.
