Hidden Lake Open Space

East side of Sheridan Boulevard, south of 69th Avenue.

This 8.6-acre open space is located on the western shoreline of the 87.8-acre Hidden Lake abutting Sheridan Boulevard. The open space was acquired in 2002 and preserves the attractive lake views from Sheridan Boulevard.

The open space is covered with native grasses. A wetland was created by the city in 2008 where the drainageway flows into the lake near 69th Avenue.

Several informal narrow “social” trails criss-cross the open space. One of the trails is located near the shoreline. To access the open space and trails, park along 69th Avenue near Sheridan Boulevard.
