Countryside Creek Open Space

Countryside Creek Open Space - Southeast corner of 106th Avenue/Oak Street.

This 25.8 acre open space preserves wonderful wetland and upland areas along Countryside Creek. A segment of the Countryside Creek Trail passes through the area and provides a surprisingly remote feeling.

The creek is filled with cattails and other wetland plants which attract lots of birds, including the raucous redwing blackbirds. A steep sided hill forms the southern edge of the open space while houses and Witt Elementary School are located on the bluff beyond.
