She Ain’t Heavy

Location: West side of Lowell Boulevard north of 73rd Avenue.

How Acquired: Purchased by the City of Westminster.
Comments: A little boy raises a girl up to pick an apple. This sculpture recalls the days when Westminster was home to the largest apple orchards west of the Mississippi River. The Madison orchard and other orchards totaled over 800 acres.
