The following is the artist’s statement about this sculpture:
“I started this sculpture almost two years before final completion, because of another full-time occupation at the time. It was a labor of love to complete and it definitely took all my patience to keep moving slowly on this sculpture. It is of a golden eagle, one of nature’s finest predatory birds. I appreciated their grace, power and beauty in flight and respect of all the power, strength, patience and wisdom they possess.”
