Legacy of Literature

Location: East side of the Irving Street Library at the southeast corner of Irving Street and 74th Avenue.

Year Installed: 2005.
How Acquired: Funded by the City of Westminster and the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District.
Comments: This is a touching sculpture of an elderly man reading to a boy and girl. The sculpture is dedicated to Mayor Nancy Heil, who served as a Westminster City Council member from 1983 to 2001, including from 1991 to 2001 as mayor.
