Location: Fire Station No. 1 - Southwest corner of 73rd Avenue/Osceola Street.
Artist: Steve Boyce - Arvada, Colorado.
Year Installed: 2003.
How Acquired: Donated by the Westminster Historical Society.
Comments: This is a touching bronze statue of a fire fighter holding a small girl. The plaque states: “Dedicated by the Westminster Historical Society to the Westminster Volunteer firemen. Westminster Fire Department Volunteers 1934-2000. The value of one’s life can be measured by how he or she has added value to the lives of others. In 2003, this statue was dedicated to those who gave freely of their time to serve Westminster citizens through the fire service and community activities.”
