Westminster is the place for fun. The Butterfly Pavilion and Insect Center offers the unique experience of interacting with more than 1,000 live butterflies living in an indoor rainforest. Visitors can also tour the insect exhibit, a real hands-on learning experience for children and adults.
The perfect place to spend time with family and friends is the Westminster Promenade, an outdoor pedestrian entertainment and business-oriented development in an attractive, resort-like setting. The Promenade includes areas for children to play, small performance areas, outdoor restaurants and cafes, a lake, trails, and sculptures to enjoy. Enjoy some of the finest Colorado entertainment presented through the North Metro Arts Alliance and the city's own free Summer Concert Series.

Westminster's central location along U.S. 36 provides quick and easy access to entertainment throughout the metro area.
Hyland Hills Water World, one of the nation's largest water parks, has over 60 acres of water slides, tubes, waves and beaches. Denver's LoDo, Ocean Journey, the Denver Art Museum, Six-Flags Elitch Gardens, the Denver Zoo, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the Rockies at Coors Field, the Broncos and Colorado Rapids, the Nuggets and Avalanche, the Flatlrons Crossing Mall in Broomfield, the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, along with a number of other entertainment choices are all within a 20 minute drive or less.
Destinations further away such as Lake Dillon, Keystone and Copper Mountain ski resorts, Colorado Springs, Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park are approximately a two hour drive from Westminster.
