Sheridan Crossing Bridge over City Park Channel
Three identical bridges provide access over City Park Channel to Sheridan Crossing Shopping Center located at the southwest corner of Sheridan Boulevard and 120th Avenue. The bridges are visible from 120th Avenue as well as the sidewalk along the street. Faux stone is used to clad concrete box culverts. The stone extends above the bridge decks to form six columns upon which decorative lights are located. The bridges provide a distinctive entrance to the shopping center.
The bridges were designed by Carroll & Lange, with city staff direction, and opened in 1998. The bridges were paid for by the developer, Westfield Development.
